Phineas and Ferb launch themselves off the platy-pult in a giant shuttlecock and fly through the air, but end up colliding with Perry's rocket car and crash onto the roof of the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated(Inc.) building, destroying Dr.Doofenshmirtz's latest invention, the Other dimension-inator. He is briefed by Major Monogram (Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh) about his mission, receives new gadgets by Carl (Tyler Alexander Mann), and rides off in his rocket car. Perry the Platypus reports to his lair and dons his secret agent persona, Agent P.

After reminiscing about how they got him (' Everything's Better with Perry'), the boys decide to play giant platypus badminton, and construct a platy-pult with their friends Isabella ( Alyson Stoner), Buford ( Bobby Gaylor), and Baljeet ( Maulik Pancholy). It's been five years since they adopted their pet platypus, Perry, from the O.W.C.A.'s animal shelter. The scene flashes back to earlier in the day when Phineas and Ferb have just woken up. Agent P ( Dee Bradley Baker), and Heinz Doofenshmirtz ( Dan Povenmire), who have been captured by the 2nd Dimension Doofenshmirtz and in chains, being led to a large, hairy, caged monster called a 'Goozim'. The film opens with Phineas ( Vincent Martella), Ferb ( Thomas Sangster), Candace ( Ashley Tisdale), Perry, a.k.a. It later gained over 3 million viewers to become the second best Animated Basic Cable Telecast Ever in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 and Cable's fifth best Movie Ever in Total Viewers. The film received positive reviews and its premiere averaged 7.6 million viewers, making it one of the highest-rated animated programs on cable in more than three years. It is the first feature-length film of the Phineas and Ferb series, and the fourth animated Disney Channel Original Movie. It was first announced by Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh during a January 2010 interview with the Daily Telegraph. The film premiered Augon Disney Channel, August 13 on Disney XD, August 20 on ABC, as well as On Demand starting August 1, and on the Disney Cruise Line starting August 18.
